This afternoon we will all report to the gym for the "Staff vs. Students" Basketball Game. The bell schedule has been adjusted for the day to allow time for this event.

The Winter Formal Dance will be at Riverside High School on Saturday, February 5th from 8 to 11pm

Yearbooks will be distributed each day during lunch periods between January 24-28th.

Make-up / Picture Retake day is Monday, November 15th. This is the make-up day for both underclass and Senior Drape Shots.

Statement from Kanawha County Schools with information regarding Covid-19 vaccination and Quarantine Guidance for students age 12 and older

KCS and RHS have put together a summer academy for the 2021 summer! KCS bus transportation will be provided at the beginning and end of the day. Lunch will also be provided. If you failed a core class, please register for credit recovery. Your counselor will place you in the proper course to make up. RHS teachers will provide some enrichment sessions. All 2021-2022 RHS students are welcome to learn something new, become involved in a fun activity, or just get a head start on the learning process for the next school year. Complete the form. Fill out the form twice if you need credit recovery and want participate in the enrichment sessions! Get involved and have fun!

The Yearbook Staff Wants YOUR Story! We will be selecting a few students from each grade to feature in the 2020-21 yearbook. Selected students will have their story printed in the yearbook along with their picture! LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!

Students and Parents/Guardians: On Wednesday, April 14, Cabin Creek Health Center will be administering Pfizer vaccinations at Riverside High School in the auxiliary gym from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. These vaccinations will be for students ages 16 and up and any family members. Students and family members must first contact Cabin Creek Health to arrange a vaccination by emailing ([email protected]) or by calling (304-949-3591); this is required to ensure we have enough vaccinations.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department will be administering Covid Vaccines at Riverside High School on Tuesday, March 30th for students age 16-18.

Dates have been set for current eLearning and Virtual School students to schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 school year.

We need to know how many eLearning 9th grade students will be attending school to take the PSAT on Thursday, March 18th.

RHS will hold Make-up or Picture Re-Take day on Tuesday, February 9th. If we are still on blended learning at that time, February 12th will also be used.
